April 6, 2013-The Emporia State men and women were swept at home for the first time this year in dual losses to Neb.-Kearney at the EHS Courts. The men fell 6-3 and the women lost 8-1.
The men led out of doubles following victories at #1 and #2 but Mitchell Kibbe win at #4 was the only singles victory as the Lopers came from behind for the win.
Somer Schmidt gave the Emporia State women their only win of the day with a victory at #5 singles.
Both teams are back in action on Wednesday when they play host to Newman in a non-conference dual. First serve is scheduled for 12 noon at the EHS Courts.
