March 5, 2013-With snow still covering part of the Emporia HS Courts, Emporia State has decided to move their scheduled duals with Ottawa University to the George Milton Courts on the Emporia State campus. The women will play on Wednesday, March 6 at 2:00 p.m. and the men will play on Thursday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. as well.
This will be the spring opener for the Emporia State women who went 5-0 in the fall season. The Hornet men are 4-4 on the season after starting the spring season with a pair of losses to nationally ranked NAIA programs indoors in Salina over the weekend.
