March 30, 2013-After dropping all three doubles matches, the Emporia State men won two of the first four singles matches but could not keep the momentum in a 7-2 loss to Truman at the Milton Courts.

Keenan Smith and Bryson Dabney fell in a tiebreaker 9-8 (7-4) at #1 doubles while Mitch Kibbe and Kenton Hallowell had a lead before falling 8-6 at #3 duobles.

Smith won his match 6-2, 6-3 at #1 singles and Kibbe took a 6-1, 6-1 win at #4 singles for the Hornets.

Emporia State is back in action on Tuesday, April 2 against Washburn.  First serve of the Tennis Turnpike Tussle is set for 2 p.m. at the EHS Courts.
