Emporia State wins all six matches played, gets three defaults

March 27, 2013-The Emporia State men's tennis team won all six matches played in a dual with Friends at the Milton Courts on Wednesday. The Hornets dropped just three games in the single competition as they improved their record to 7-6 on the season.

The Falcons were not able to field a #3 doubles team or a #6 singles player while #1 singles player Eric Berner was not able to begin his match.  The closest match of the dual came at #1 doubles where Keenan Smith and Bryson Dabney defeated Berner and Patrick Trollman 8-5.  Andrew Davids and Mat Edwards won at #2 doubles 8-1 and none of the singles players lost more than one game.

The Hornets are back in action on Friday, March 29 at #24 Southwest Baptist.  First serve is set for 1:30 p.m. in Bolivar, Mo.
