November 23, 2013 - The #4 ranked Lady Hornets defeated Midwestern State University 77-55 behind 50 percent shooting from the field to improve to 6-0 on the season.
Four Lady Hornets finished in double figures led by Rheanna Egli's 15 points. Egli was two for three from behind the three-point arch and added five assists.
Laura Patrick scored 14 points, while Desiree Wylie and Kionna Kellog scored 13 and 11 points respectively. Amber Vandiver led the Emporia State with 11 rebounds.
Emporia State outscored the Mustangs 24-6 from three-point range.
The Lady Hornets will next be in action November 30 when they host Southwestern College at Slaymaker Court in White Auditorium with a scheduled 7:00 p.m. tip-off.
