Box Score November 16, 2013 - With a sweep over Lindenwood, Emporia State finished its seventh straight MIAA and overall winning season.

Seniors Paige Vanderpool and Brianna Kaiser each had a double-double in their final regular season match. Both seniors finished with 10 kills and 13 digs in the 25-21, 25-23, 25-18 victory.

Official pairings for the MIAA Postseason Tournament have yet to be announced, but it appears that the Hornets will be the #5 seed and open the tournament on the road at #4 seeded Central Oklahoma. The Bronchos defeated Emporia State both times the two met in the regular season.

The win over the Lions leaves ESU with  a regular season record of 18-10 and 9-7 in the MIAA. The last time the Hornets did not finish with dual winning records was in the 2006 campaign when they finished .500 in the MIAA and 15-16 overall.
