October 30, 2013-The #5 Lady Hornets put seven players in double-figures while holding Central Methodist to 27% shooting in a 94-37 victory on Slaymaker Court in White Auditorium.

After a slow start in which neither team scored for the first 2:08, Emporia State jumped out to a 13-2 lead with 14:37 left in the half.  They pushed the lead to 30 at the break and would lead by as many as 58 in the second half.

Rheanna Egli hit four of four from behind the arc on her way to a team high 15 points.  In her first collegiate action Kelly Moten scored 14 points and pulled eight rebounds with two steals. Amber Vandiver had 12 points and nine rebounds before fouling out.  Kionna Kellog, Haley Parker adn Desiree Wylie all had 11 points and Laura Patrick added ten for the Lady Hornets.  Merissa Quick had a game high ten rebounds and five blocked shots on the night.

The Lady Hornets will play their final exhibition on Sunday against Kansas.  Tip-off from Allen Fieldhouse is set for 2:00 p.m.
