HORNET VOLLEYBALL WINS FIFTH STRAIGHT MATCH

Box Score October 19, 2013 - Emporia State defeated Southwest Baptist  3-1 in White Auditorium Saturday night in front of 200 fans.

With the win the Hornets improved to 13-7 overall and 4-4 in the MIAA.

Emporia State clawed back to win a tight 29-27 first set. They followed up with a 25-21 second set victory.. The Bearcats flip-flopped that score in the third set winning 25-21.

The Hornets won the match in by winning the fourth set 25-19.

The victory was the fifth in a row for the Hornets.
