March 10, 2012 -- The Emporia State women's tennis team moved to 9-1 on the season as they swept by Southwestern College on the road. The men moved to 5-2 on the year as they also earned a 9-0 win on the road.
In the women's match the Hornets dropped only seven total games each Hornet won atleast one of their sets with a 6-0 sweep. The men earned their second 9-0 sweep of the season dropping only five total games in doubles play.
The tennis teams will return to the court on March 14, when they travel to Kansas Wesleyan for a 6 p.m. match.
