February 15, 2012 -- The Emporia State men's basketball team could not overcome 18 turnovers in a 61-44 loss at Pittsburg State. The Hornets tied the rebounding battle, but PSU hit ten more field goals in the loss.

The Hornets only lead of the game would come in the first minute, but ESU kept it close early trailing only 32-25 at the break. The Gorillas would then outscore ESU 29-19 in the second half to seal the victory.

Chris SIghts was the only Hornet in double figures scoring 13 points and a team high eight rebounds. Tola Lawal added eight points while Travis Dykman had four assists.

The Hornets will return to the court on Feb. 18 when they travel to Lincoln for a scheduled 3:00 p.m. tip-off.
