Tyler Schultze is the June Kansas Army National Guard Emporia State Athlete of the Month. A First-Team Academic All-American he has a 3.98 GPA in Physics and was a Third-Team All-MIAA selection at defensive back. The sophomore from DeSoto, Kan. led the MIAA in interceptions with five and was second in the MIAA and sixth in the nation in passes defended.
