Emporia State University Athletics

Paul Kutnink participated in football, basketball, and track & field and earned 11 letters during his collegiate career.  He lettered in football from 1920-23 and was an all-conference performer his last three seasons.  Kutnink was the captain of the 1922 football team and was also recognized as the captain of the 1922 all-conference squad.  He also lettered three years in basketball and four years in track & field.  After his playing career, Kutnink later returned to Emporia State University as an assistant coach in several sports and later served seven years as head basketball coach.
