Emporia State University Athletics

A Mound City, Kan. native, Gunn was a three-time NAIA national champion in the shot put and a ten-time All-American in the shot and discus. She held the ESU record in the discus and is currently second. She still ranks third in the outdoor shot and fifth in the indoor shot.  Gunn was the 1992 ESU Female Student- Athlete of the Year.
