Emporia State's first Kodak All-American as a member of the NCAA, Aneta Kausaite was the MIAA Most Valuable Player in 1998. She was ninth in career scoring and fifth in career assists at ESU when she graduated and still stood 15th in career scoring and 11th in assists a decade later despite just playing two years. She led ESU to it's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament as a junior and to the NCAA Championship game as a senior. She was the first NCAA Division II player to play in the WNBA, playing one season with the Detroit Shock.
